  Member Chris Worfolk is trying out running social meetings at the Cosmo’ Hotel, 2 Lower Briggate at 10.30am on the first Sunday of the month. Visit Leedshumanists website

  Instead of the buffet-style summer social, this year there will be an outing to Cliffe Castle Museum, Keighley (Click here for map) .  Meeting there at 11.00am. Details in the July Newsletter.

  Leeds Skeptics in a pub launched! Skeptics in the Pub are groups that meet, usually once a month, to discuss issues of rationalism and science over a nice cold pint. See Leeds Skeptics in the pub for details.

  Brian Layfield & Bob Tee have been invited to take part in a formal debate hosted by the Bradford University Moslem Society on the motion "There is a creator". The event will take place on Wednesday 15th October at 2.30pm (arrive 2pm) at Horton Barn, in the Horton Building, at the University of Bradford.
